For persons who have limited or restricted ability to move, Mobility Service Dogs are a welcome addition and lead to greater independence and quality of life. Trained to assist with many day-to-day functions, Mobility Service Dogs can do the following and then some:

  • retrieving dropped items;

I can’t thank Aspen Service Dogs enough for the time they spent to make Atrej the blessing he is today. My life has changed in so many ways since Atrej entered it. I leave the house confident that no matter what I face Atrej and I can face it together. I no longer stress about dropping my phone or other important items because I know Atrej can pick them up for me. I feel more safe with him beside me. He truly helps me as much physically as he does emotionally. A gentle nudge when he sees me stressed or his big head resting on me feet bring me such joy. Nothing beats snuggling into bed with my boy at the end of a long day. His loyalty and love make him the greatest companion.
